Who we are

Rally ("we") is a workout app for daily reps, group video workouts and a community feed. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account: the name, photo and username you choose, your language, time zone and reminder time. You sign in with Apple or Google through Firebase Authentication; we receive an account identifier and, if you share it, your name and email address.
• Training: your exercise, daily goal, big goal, the reps counted in each workout, workout times, streaks and cheat day cards.
• Community: posts, photos, comments, reactions, groups you create or join, reports and blocks.
• Device: push notification tokens, app version, platform and an install identifier, so we can ring you for group calls and send reminders.
• Purchases: if you buy Rally Pro, Apple sends us the subscription status. We never see your payment details.
• Logs: IP addresses and request details in server logs, kept for security and abuse prevention.

The camera

Reps are counted on your phone. In solo workouts the video never leaves your device.

In group calls your video and audio are sent live to the other people in that call through our call server. Calls are not recorded.

How we use it

• To run the app: count and save your reps, keep your streak, show leaderboards and the feed, and connect group calls.
• To keep the community safe: we check posts, photos and comments with an automated moderation service, and review reports.
• To send the notifications you turn on, such as the daily reminder and group call rings.

We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

Who else processes it

• DigitalOcean (servers and storage, Singapore).
• Google Firebase (sign-in, notifications, app integrity checks).
• Apple (Sign in with Apple, notifications, in-app purchases).
• OpenAI (automated moderation of posts, photos and comments).
• Telegram (notifying our moderators about reports).

What others can see

Your name, photo, username, streak and weekly reps appear on the feed, leaderboards and in groups. Posts shared with "My groups" are visible only to people in your groups. People you block, and people who block you, can't see each other anywhere in Rally.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, posts, comments, photos, workouts and the groups you own are deleted right away; backups are overwritten within 7 days and logs within 30 days.

Your choices and rights

• Edit your profile any time in Profile.
• Delete your account in Profile → Delete account.
• Turn notifications off in Profile or your phone's settings.
• Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask any question, through Profile → Contact support.

Children

Rally is not for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
